Kick off MEMO with caffeine and cameras. We meet at the Remai front entrance, grab a coffee, and head out at 7:30 AM sharp on a photowalk through downtown Saskatoon, shooting black and white film and digital side by side.

After lunch we develop every roll from the morning in a 90-minute breakout session, and talk about analog's place in today's creative economy. You don't need to be a photographer. Curious people, subjects and observers are all welcome. You do need a MEMO Fest pass, available at memofest.ca.

The photowalk has no cap. Anyone with a pass can come. The afternoon developing session holds 30 places, then a waitlist.

Remai Modern front entrance. Coffee first, then about an hour on foot downtown. Open to everyone, no cap. Bring any camera, or borrow one of ours.

1:00 PM · 90 minutes · Cameco Learning Studio

Film developing and discussion. 30 places, waitlist after that. Hands-on developing spots are limited to 15. Everyone else can watch and join the conversation.
